On each visually stunning puzzle you are given a number of islands where you need to join these islands with bridges. These puzzles are designed to improve your students spatial awareness. Reasons why solving Building Bridges Puzzles are good for your students It sharpens your critical thinking skills It improves our problem solving skills It helps us in multi-tasking thinking skills It helps stay mentally fit All you need to do is decide if you want color or black and white as both are included. Personally I use color. Print them off and laminate the sheets and you are good to go. Included is also a PowerPoint show to teach you and you students how to play.

Would You Rather? Writing and Discussing Task Cards and Recording Sheet

Everyone has an opinion. Help your students develop theirs with these Would You Rather cards. I have have included a recording sheet so that it encourages students to think about both sides to an argument, write which side they believe in, and share it with others. I have used them, both, as a class activity and for early finishers. The students simply choose a card and grab a pre-printed recording sheet and off they go. It makes the perfect addition to your Daily 5 work, and reading and writing centers. There are 40 cards to choose from. I simply print them off, laminate, and cut them to size. I have also included 2 versions of the task cards to choose from. First being an ink heavy version and the second a version that is more printer friendly.

Escape Room: Easter Egg Hunt Math Mystery (Spring)

Students love Escape Rooms and Easter. Combine them and it is a hit. Capture their imagination with this escape room and get the students excited for learning. A perfect way to celebrate Easter and Spring. This Easter Escape Room can work for both individuals and groups. I typically print off the clues in color, laminate them for durability, and scatter them around the room. I place the students in groups of 2-4. The students work their way around the clues solving them and putting the answers on the students page (which I double side, as it has the story on one side and a space for the answers on the other). When they have finished they check back in with the teacher to confirm if they are correct. I typically give them an Easter Egg at this stage (but that is up to you). The Story: You have turned up at school and your lovely teacher has bought an Easter egg each for the whole class!! The whole class cheers in anticipation of the chocolate goodness. As the teacher reaches into their basket they discover it is empty of Easter eggs . In its place is a safe which requires a numbered code to open. Next to the safe are 10 clues. Solve the clues to reveal the code so that you can discover what is in the safe. The Puzzles: Puzzle 1: A grid logic puzzle Puzzle 2: A cryptogram Puzzle 3: 4 digit addition and subtraction problems Puzzle 4: Following Directions Puzzle 5: Reading charts and graphs Puzzle 6: Multiple single digit addition and subtraction Puzzle 7: Hundreds Board with multiples, addition and subtraction Puzzle 8: Algebra Puzzle Puzzle 9: Addition hexagon Puzzle 10: Addition circles Enjoy and please remember to follow me by clicking the following link to easily find my latest resources and receive discounts.
